Default What does Saturn Bomberman buy you over Mega and Super Bomberman besides 10 players?

I'm thinking of parring down the collection a bit and I'm wondering if I might be able to get away with letting the Saturn go. Basically from what I gather the Saturn version of Bomberman obviously has better graphics and lets you play with up to 10 people. Besides this is their any reason to keep it over say, super bomberman 5 or mega bomberman?

I like the single player in Saturn Bomberman more than any other Bomberman before or since. I know I'm in the minority in I find the single player more important than the multi in most games (Saturn Bomberman included).

The one real flaw was that I don't recall there being any way to save your progress, which kinda sucked. Or I've missed it for the last decade and spent way, way more time than I ever needed to working through the game. If that's the case then I'm about to be really depressed.

Courtesi, do you know Saturn Bomberman has a cheat code that basically enables 32 map variations? That alone makes it a keeper. At the stage select screen hold X+Y+Z until you hear a sound. Then press up or down to change the "weather" which actually changes slightly the map you've selected. It even works on the 10 player map.

    I say keep them all.

EDIT: OK I just read your post more clearly. Well, if you have no desire to hold on to your Saturn, you could DEFINITELY do without Saturn Bomberman. And I'd recommend selling it all, so long as you know you won't miss your Saturn and its games.

Yeah but I don't think any of the Super Bomberman games do.
