    Default Starfox limited edition?

I read on wikipedia that If you purchased Starfox Adventures at Circuit City when it came out CC Threw in a "Survival kit" Which included a bottle of Jones Green apple soda, Relabeled as "Fox fuel"

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jones_Soda

    (It is under "Limited editions")

Is there anyone here who owns one of these "Survival kits"?

The only time I seen one of them was when someone was selling there starfox collection. I always assumed it came with the competition cart.

I have the Starfox Survival Kit and I did get it at Circut City. It has a box that included the Fox Fuel Apple Soda.

    The full kit contains:
    Fox Fuel Green Soda
A do not disturb "Adventure In Progress" door hanger
Starfox Tips and Tricks toilet paper with game hints on each of the sheets
And I have some stickers but I don't know if they are part of the kit.

Strange but cool little bonus when you bought Starfox Adventures from Circut City. I know a lot of people rip the game but it is still one of my favorites.

Interesting, I wonder how many of these "kits" are left? They ought to be worth a lot even now!

    Oh. Right.
He made it sound like it was a current thing, so I got confused as to why an old game would be getting this bonus, but hey, toilet paper.

I should edit the topic so it doesn't sound like that.

    Edit: Done.

Good news for you guys. I happen to have one of these SFA Survival Kit that i never touched, well actually i did touch it to look what was inside. But everything is still in inside the way it came. I don't know if the soda is still drinkable, i kept the box in my closet for the last 5 years then i moved 6 months ago and its been in my new closet, anyway its been at room temperature. I guess sodas are drinkable because they are sealed. Anyway if anyone wants it i am willing to sell it, i don't know how much longer i can keep it.
It almost got thrown out when i moved, i forgot i even had it until then.

OH it includes everything mentioned above, except the stickers are actually two tattoos of Krystal and fox.

It will most likely end up on eBay in a few weeks.

Yes, Pictures would be appreciated! I'm not interested in buying it but I bet you'll find someone here willing to purchase it. Try the buying and selling forum. Oh wait, You just joined DP so those forums may be closed off to you.

Thanks for the pictures, I didn't know about the air freshener! Hmm, Now in order to make a bootleg survival kit.. Buy a jones soda... Write "FOX FUEL" On the label.. Take a long time to write hints on every sheet of TP... Roll the TP up (Most likely messing it up, too).. Put in a pine air freshener and a few tattoos. Yeah it'll work, I'll make lots of money! :P (What happened to this smiley?)

GameStop gave out those air fresheners as well.

They had quite the vile scent.
RIP bargora, you will be greatly missed. That is how we do things on Giedion Prime.

    Exclamation

Hey guys, first post. Bumping this old thread since it is on topic as to why I joined. I recently found one of these in a box I would store old things I owned.

It still had the original Circuit City bag around it. After reading this thread I found out that it was supposed to include and air freshener and some stickers which I'm about 100% positive mine never came with.

Funny story to add though. I don't think this was a preorder handout at every store. I remember they gave this to everybody for 1 cent (yes, just one penny) if you purchased Starfox Adventures at launch. I recall them going very quickly also.

Anybody have any idea of how much this may be worth? I hope it is worth something someday

Interesting fact - the Seattle Seahawks are the only pro NFL team not sponsored by Coke or Pepsi. The are sponsored by Jones soda.

I thought it relevant given the topic.
