    Default Greatest 8-Bit Game Ever!

After reading the 16bit version, i decided this should be discussed!
i searched thru the forum and couldnt find an exsisting topic on it so here we go! (please move this to the Classic Discussion mods!)

    in my opinion....

    Bubble Bobble
    or
    Rainbow Islands
    or
    Super Mario Bros 3

I agree, M.U.L.E. is an excellent choice as a best game for the best 8-bit computer ever, Atari.
Or another classic: Preppy. Or Necromancer.
Of course, Star Raiders sold the machine.....

On Apple II and /or C-64 I would say: The Bards Tale III....

Pepper 2 on Coleco is my fave choice for that console.

NES, SMB 3?!? Well, it would be, wouldn't it!!!

    SMS.....perhaps Sonic?

    VCS....Pitfall 2

The NES Castlevania trilogy is pretty much the Alpha and Omega of greatness to me, though CVIII remains my favorite out of all of them. Ergo, it's my favorite game ever. EVER.

    Such a tough question.

I'd probably have to go with SMB3 though, such a great game.

Mega Man 3 is close though. I love that game.
