One grand and it's a toaster and not even a top-loader?
"Bitch, please."
Actually i doubt he'll get top dollar for it, who in their right mind would buy that... well i guess some would, but yeah that would be a rarity.
OT: Hey sniderman, ill take a videogame clock for -$9 + shipping.
Hmm... this guy must post in the MAME area here. What a carpenter. Looks like something I'd be capable of building- which is not a compliment.
It's neat, but damn. That price!
It should really have a bezel with some Nintendo flavor art around it. Ya know, to hide the fact that your playing on a crap Sylvania Wal-Mart special TV set. lol

I've finally found someone who is as equally skilled at woodworking and painting as I!
Possibility is infinity! You must be satisfied!

It's kinda like a tutorial on converting a crappy tv stand into a even more crappy barely-an-arcade-cab. EPIC FAIL

As much as I'd love to have something like this, it fails to impress me with it's ability to only hold 100 games. 100 games??? For crying out loud, how do I pick thru my collection and pick 1/3 of my nes games to go in the thing? What if I have an idiot moment and want to play Final Fantasy standing up with a stick instead of on my couch in front of my TV on my NES, or in the bathroom on my GBA, or on another TV on my playstation, or on a friends toilet with their PSP.
Oh, and it's ugly. It looks like the spawn of two dead monkeys and a wood chipper. Damn thing would be best used in a wood chipper.
Iv'e thought about building one once. THats what it stayed a thought. this guy should really take my advice: at least get a multi-game cart, or even a noac.
No bids, not surprised.
You can get one of those Ubercade kit things with a PC, WG D9200, 487 buttons and 16 trackballs on a 6 foot control panel with eight cupholders for about the same price.
Reminds me of this..

Having been a woodworker for several years in the past, that construction is slipshod and extremely unstable. Even so, it isn't bad if it's just a beginner's project.
This topic also reminds me that I've been wanting to build an interchangeable-system stand-up cabinet for some years now...
A couple of times a year, back in the NES era, there used to be pictures of these type of set-ups sent into Nintendo Power by letter writers.
"Hey Nintendo Power, look what my dad built. It's a Nintendo arcade machine and there's even a cup holder on the side!"
The one in that auction doesn't even look as good as the ones that used to be featured in pictures from the Nintendo Power letters section.
Fortunately nobody will be dumb enough to buy that. Everybody who would actually be foolish enough to purchase something like that probably can't afford the asking price and the people who could know that thing ain't worth it.
Married Men Of DP: Are you fed up with your marriage, looking to get a divorce but don't want to look like the "bad guy" by bringing up the subject with the Missus? Have no fear. Bid on that Nintendo arcade machine and the Missus will bring up the subject for you.
Price lowered to $800, someone is getting desperate!
Are there still pics of that "Pacmamea" cabinet somewhere? The official site seems to be dead.
EDIT: Here it is.

/me gets an idea, but not that horrible.
Yeah, I do like the idea of a game rack installed on the side but the rest is complete trash. I wouldn't mind setting up a console cab as some others have done on here, and leagues better to boot.
