Default Top 10 best games for the Master System that are CHEAP

I was wondering what everybody's top 10 cheap games are for the system? For somebody that just got the system and are looking to get some great games under $15 each (complete).

I've got to say Hang On/Astro Warrior. Two decent if not simple grade games that can probably be found anywhere for less than $5 complete. (If that)

Coming in a good second is Captain Silver. Even with the Us version not having as many levels as it should, the game is worth a cheap price if you come across one.

Hmmm ... I'm not sure if I could compile a top 10, but some of my favorite SMS games that traditionally track with low prices are :

    Alex Kidd in Miracle World
    Action Fighter
    My Hero
    Fantasy Zone
    Zillion
    Zillion II
    Quartet

Golvellius. Top 5 game on the SMS and it's cheap. Similar to Zelda I but much better, IMO.

I would reccomend Penguin Land, Rambo: First Blood part 2, and Time Soldiers. There are some great phaser gun titles ,too. Safari hunt, Gangster Town, and Marksman Shooting/ Trap Shooting come to mind. Almost all titles other than the uber rares can usually be had in that $15 or below range.

Kensiden, The Ninja, Choplifter, & Black Belt. All three are cheap and unique to the SMS.

The Ninja, one of my favs for the system. Extremely common and cheap.

Besides Ys, Phantasy Star and Wonder Boy 3 I don't think there are any good, expensive SMS games.. So basically anything else. Check out sega8bit's top 100 for the good stuff.

And, hey, what's wrong with Zillion II? The first game felt a lot like Impossible Mission ... and the second was a decent side scrolling shooter.

Sure, there are way better games for SMS, but the criteria included cheap.

Just to add on with a few that haven't yet been mentioned:

    Rescue Mission
    Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars
    Space Harrier
    Missile Defense 3-D
    Kung Fu Kid
    Kenseiden
    SpellCaster

It's a great system to collect for, enjoy the hunt!
