Default Mythri for the GBC and GBA

I was wondering if anyone knows what happened to Mythri. I am assuming it never got a publisher so the project died. But after all these years their site is still up and gives me some hope that the game might be resurected for the DS or PSP.

Here is their website for those that dont know what game I am talking about. Does anyone know if maybe a prototype made it out there or a a rom of somesort. Also their site used to have MANY more screenshots... If anyone has them could you please upload them.
If a god is willing to prevent evil, but not able, then he is not omnipotent. If he is able, but not willing, then he must be malevolent. If he is both willing and able, then why is there evil? If he is neither able or willing then why call him a god?

Thought I would give this thread another shot in hopes that *someone* out there has any info on the game.

never even heard of it.

have you tried their forums? it seems to me like it is/was always a homebrew more than anything. i dont get the feeling this ever will, or had, a chance of hitting commercial release status.

I remember hearing about it years ago... it originated on the GB Color and was being revamped for the GBA. Apparently their only problem was finding someone to publish it... I guess they never did.

This is about the only thing I could find going back through some old websites I used to visit around that time... an interview with two of the staff members of TeamXkalibur from back in 2000.

It seems one of the staff members has popped up with a new article about the (almost) making of the game...

I don't know how you keep finding all this info on Mythri, but I greatly appriciate it! Those articles were a good read. Its good to see the individuals of Team XKalibur are still around.

I was thinking about this game today. Does anyone know what happened to the members of Team XKalibur? Are they working on anything now?
I wonder if Mythri will just be lost to time...

After doing about 2 minutes of digging, Tom Hulett is game director at WayForward and here is his web site: http://www.tommhulett.com/

EDIT: Here is a link to a post about Mythri on his blog: http://www.tommhulett.com/?p=504
Posted late last year, this must be the most recent "news" about Mythri. It all boils down to the essence of the story of Mythri showing up in final draft form as the story of a Silent Hill game Tomm worked on, Book of Memories. It's a short but interesting read and you can feel the release he must've had when writing this little piece.

Also he link to the story synopsis of Mythri posted 4 1/2 years ago. I had never seen this until now: http://www.telebunny.net/toastywiki/.../Games/Mythri2

Hi - sorry to dig up an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone knew the way to access Parts Three-Six of The (Almost) Making of Mythri? It seems to be locked and requires a password and a name, so I wondered if anyone here could help.
I have a blog.

Also, quietly updating my thread on fanzines incessantly and insistently.

Latest Updates:
MAR 28 2015 UPDATE: Added PC Engine Gamer & ZX Spectrum Gamer as well as link, along with link to The Laser.
APR 26 2015 UPDATE: Added Forgotten Words through Shoryuken!.
APR 26 2015 UPDATE 2: Added names of the editors for all fanzines I have editor's names for.
APR 28 2015 UPDATE: Added more editor names as well as Blip! through Duo-Dimensions.
MAY 4 2015 UPDATE: Added a couple fanzines and rearranged the entire thing into alphabetical order. Took a lot longer than expected.

Pretty sure those parts were never actually finished. Those sections appear to be locked because it's trying to open an editing feature, changing the URL just goes to non-existing pages.

Blog of the guy who wrote parts 1 and 2, he only lists parts 1 and 2 as his work.

That does make sense. Oh well. Thank you very much anyways, though, I didn't know Mr. Hulett had a website.
