Default Import N64 can I plug it in?

I bought a Japanese N64 yesterday and I was wondering if I could plug it in or could I damage it by doing so without an adapter.
    Thanks

Yeah, it's no problem. You can plug in pretty much any Japanese system in the US. You only have to watch out for PAL stuff.
