Hi I want to buy a bomberman for the 64 but don't know which one is best.
I'm getting a vibe it's the first one? -or is bomberman 64 2 better?
-thanks

Are you looking for the classic Bomberman experience? If so, 2nd Attack is your best bet. The first one is more like a platform game. I hear Bomberman Hero is also more platform-ish.
I understand that the BEST Bomberman on the N64 was not released on the US... it's called "Bomberman 64" but it's not to be confused with the first Bomberman 64 game that came out in the States. I think it was one of the last (if not THE last) games to appear on the Japanese N64 and is very much like the traditional Bomberman games from the NES/SNES era.
Thanks for indulging my gaming habit when I was young, Dad. You were the best. I miss you. ~David Barnes 1926-2007~
On a small side note, how are the Bomberman platformers for the N64? I have been curious for some time about them, but have never tried any of them.
bomberman 64 although its a platformer, I think is a fun game. Multiplayer mode is a little different than classic mode, but it is a lot of fun none the less. It is the only 64 bomberman I've played but I played it a good amount, single and muliplayer.
Yeah... is 2nd attack any good? I happened upon a CIB a few months ago- but haven't gotten around to it. It looks sorta like a Zelda-esque adventure game.
Funny that this topic got brought up. I just played all three yesterday(multiplayer). I like Second Attack the best.

I vote for Bomberman Arcade Edition. It's import only, however.
Honestly, I like the first one better. Yeah, it's a platformer, but it's good! Really! If you want to play classic Bomberman, there are a lot of games for other systems that do that well.

I enjoyed them all, though Hero sticks out as the different one as it plays entirely like a platformer. 64 in more platform/bit of puzzle, while 2nd Attack has a very adventurous go here and do that setup.
