Default Best Cute em Ups Query???... (All Platforms)

My question is, Do any of you guys know of any legendary Cute em Ups, across any platform that every collector & hardcore gamer should add to there own personal collections???... Whether it be vertical, horizontal, multi-scrolling, manic/bullet hell, methodical, Rail, 3D shooters etc???... Please add rare Japanese only releases too.

Please I need some more suggestions...

Konami's Parodius series seems to fit the bill.

Hmmmm ... I'm not sure about any "legendary" ones, but Air Zonk (TG16, Wii Virtual Console) was pretty good from what I can remember.

TwinBee is the quintessential cute-em-up series as far as I'm concerned. Most others were inspired by that series, anyway.

Space Invaders '95 is the Parodius of the Space Invaders games. I love it.
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

I think bust3dstr8 pretty much covered everything.

ABA Games might have some stuff that fits the bill, too. (TUMIKI Fighters in particular.)

    Game Tengoku also probably qualifies.

Harmful Park on the PlayStation is quite good and currently, that could be the only one in genre I actually own and enjoy.

Definitely Harmful Park. I really enjoyed this game. Also the Twinbee series and Air Zonk.

Just picked up Cosmogang: The Video for SFC.
    Cute galaga-style shmup.
Difficulty ramps up too quickly though imo.

Even though it is best played with 2 players…

Twinkle Star Sprites is a very fine game offering a cute 'em up enviroment.

Twinkle Star Sprites is awesome. I just hardly play it because I can't find anyone who can be bothered to learn the game. I'm longing for some 2 player action!
