Since I found these back in June,I didn't put them in the July finds thread. While I still play videogames almost every day - I hadn't done much in the way of collecting old/retro stuff - until one day I got some crazy notion to go to my local thrift & take a look. This is what I found:
CIB Activision 2600 Seaquest for $3.00
Isn't that such an awesome find??
But - this is what I found along with it: (mind you,I had no clue about what I had found until I had gotten home & did some internet searching...)
Yep,you are looking at 4 out of the 5 Atari 2600 Avalon Hill releases -
Death Trap,London Blitz,Wall Ball, & Shuttle Orbiter.
As you can see by my pictures, they are all still shrinkwrapped with the original price tag from Zayre still intact. The only blemish on the boxes is the thrift store marks, which are thankfully still on the wrap.
So now I have the collecting bug again - finally getting off my duff & cataloging my collection & actually dusting off my Atari & Intellivision and giving them some playtime. I'm very happy.
But to stay on topic & to close out my post - How do you think I did & what do you think these are worth? Thanks!
