I had my mother purchase Metal and Lace for me back in the day for one of my birthdays. The funny part is that I did not even have a PC at the time. I had a Macintosh. I bought it just so I could play it at a friend's house. The game sucks hard, but the memories... oh the memories... Long story short, PM sent regarding Metal and Lace. Never seen the goofy nude patch though.
Ok here are some photos sorry no flash. I'm by no means rich I just work really hard and the only thing I really spend any money on is games (well and my car and computers) and now is a good time to snatch up some good buys.

At that price, it has to be. It also looks like it is in an original style (non-snaplock) case.

I got a bit of a shock today.
I bought this randomly at goodwill awhile ago.
Apparently it's an R7 or something >_>,
I kinda sat there like "What..." for a second.
I know it's not worth much still...
Please refer to here --> http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=27021
It's still a nice surprise non-the-less.~
Here's some of my stuff from the past few weeks...
Just picked up at the post office less than an hour ago, 7 MVS carts (Sonic Wings 2 & 3, Neo Geo Cup 98, Breakers Revenge, Metal Slug 3 & 4, and Puzzle Bobble):
An ultra-minty Super Famicom, complete with AV Cable. Totally unblemished, including the box -- ~$40:
Last Bible II (GB) -- only $1. Densha de Go! Shinkansen ~$15 (been looking for it for a while, i've had the Shinkansen controller for ages, but no game -- at least this version). Game & Watch Pinball ~$15.
And in the cool-as-hell department, Club Nintendo Hanafuda deck.

Money's tight so I didn't buy a lot of stuff today.
I found:
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out - CIB! (no price, I'm selling this. :P) And yes, it even includes the letter.
Leisure Suit Larry 1 (original version) for the Apple ][, brand new: $2!
I passed on:
Mega Man 5 cart only - $4 (someone snatched it before I did).
Also of note, one booth had a ton of RealMagic-compatible games. They made MPEG2 playback cards back in the day, and I'd only heard of one game that was compatible with it. But I found six or seven new ones there... I figured the card would be around but I didn't see it so I gave up. :\
Not sure if this was a "deal" but it was a total impulse buy.
Gamecube + two controllers + nintendo memory card + warioware for $30.
I'm still not sure why I bought it.
edit: from goodwill
yeah the metal slug is a conversion. Still overall this package was a pretty good deal and I've got more great neo deals potentially on the horizon
I got a few good games lately
Sega Master System - Eswat, $13.99 complete from Video Games Etc.
and the same day at a Goodwill for TG16 I got both in cases
Double Dungeons and Psychosis for $1.99 each
plus a few anime books that may be neat to read.
If they made a movie out of your top five worst sins, what would it be rated?
Check out my list of trades on GameTZ Link
Not much going down right now but a great deal just the same.
PS2 - Yakuza (new) ($5.00)
They have a few more copies that I may pick up on Friday for the old trade box. There are also a bunch of copies of Gun and the Marc Ecko game in the backroom at the same price, I may buy a copy of Gun.
The time when you have lots of disposable income is great but usually short lived. Sometimes I think back to when I was at that point and wish I saved a little but I'm doing fine these days and it was fun to be able to get what I wanted when I wanted it. So I say spend it while you can and get the things you really want when they make themselves available - because that opportunity isn't always going to be there.
Metal and Lace was always an adult themed game, that aspect plays out pretty much like strip poker. Metal and Lace at Otaku Fridge (review from the former version of Hentai Neko).
Although it may not have the most depth, Sonic Wings 3 has always been my favorite of the series, nice lineup of Neo-Geo carts there.![]()

A few things I got this week:
N64 Promotional Tape- $2 at Goodwill
Space Combat (Sears)- $3 at Goodwill
Ice Climbers GBA sealed- $5 at Hollywood Video
I passed up on a Famiclone without a controller or AC adapter for $6, despite the fact that I'm pretty sure an NES AC adapter would have worked with it.
Star Legions, Unreal - $2 each; Star Legions is complete, with old mail-order lists from when DOS games were $59.95
Mechwarrior 2 ATI Rage Edition, Outpost 2, Quake expansion - $1 each
And the cool stuff....
From a church annual flea market thing that I passed after class:
Xbox Demos - $0.10 each, 19 total, mostly the magazine includes, but also a "Best of Xbox Demos" disk, Rogue Galaxy (PS2, been wanting to try that one), and the FFXI beta. I was just thinking about looking for an FFXI beta disk the other day...
Palm m500 with cradle and AC - $2, I talked them down from $3 because it wouldn't power on while I was there. The battery was completely dead, so these have to charge 20 minutes or so before they'll boot. It's got an SD card slot, so I can put my DP Guide for Portable Devices on it, once I convert it to Plucker fomat.
Apple Macintosh PowerBook 5300cs - $10
I think the battery is dead, but AC power works fine.
I'm not really sure what a lot of these ports are. I'm guessing one's IR, one's a mouse, and then mic and headphones, but what are the others? I had two old guys say "Hey, USB!" and point at the wide one, but it's something Apple. Oddly enough, that little button below it is power. Yes it's that hidden. I'm no Mac expert, so can anyone tell me if I can get a CD-ROM attached to this? It has floppy and PMCIA, and my wireless PMCIA card doesn't fit in all the way, so it's some kind of Apple PMCIA.

I need some quick help. I am out in Az `and there is a place that has a sega jvc. They want 50 he said it had every thing but the original controller. What is the original controller for this one? The one that comes with it is a genesis 6 button. It looks clean for its time and there is only 1 sega adapter and av cables. What is the going rate? Thanks.
They also had a snacther but wanted get this 160. GOOD Night I got excited until I seen the price.

^What's a sega jvc?
JVC released something called the X'Eye, a Sega Genesis + Sega CD combo unit. They have a funny shape, and they're highly desirable. I believe they go for $100ish. You should be able to get a Genesis for $20, and a Sega CD for maybe $50-60, but at any rate, under the price of an X'Eye usually. Still, I believe that it only uses one AC, so it's a convenience thing.
I'd jump on that for $50, as long as it works. Bring a Genesis and CD game to test if you can. There might be an X'Eye branded controller, but at any rate, the deal is worth it for being incomplete.
The JVC X'Eye branded controller is a standard three-button Genesis control pad with "JVC" printed in the center where the Genesis logo usually is. Yes, the system is a Sega Genesis and Sega CD in one that uses one power adapter. That's the kicker, make sure it has the correct power adapter, not a Genesis 2 power adapter that's being used in it's place. (the Genny 2 adapter will get most of them to work but outputs too little amperage) The correct power adapter will say JVC on it, but any adapter 10V or so outputting at least 1.5A will work fine.
The additionall perks outside of having the two systems in one is that the cartridge slot is wide enough to accommodate JPN Mega Drive cartridges (some will still be region locked and require a region mod). Also most versions of the X'Eye have standard composite RCA jacks for video and audio. The CD drive also seems to load up faster and all around the system tends to be better manufactured and run smoother than a vanilla Genesis setup.
If it has the adapter and is working I'd say $50.00 is a fine price.

Yeah, that controller is a bootleg. The "fuzzy" graphics on the box give it away. There are two stores here in town (Madison, WI) that have 20-30 of those bootleg controllers for sale at $5 - $10 or so. They work fine, but the buttons and d-pad are too stiff compared the real deal.

A few days ago I traded a guy an N64 w/ Mario 64 and a few junk games for this Hori NES Wing Commander stick and a bunch of other assorted things (6 NES games, Mario RPG manual, Secret of Evermore manual, NTSC-J MGS, working GB, misc. other stuff and some GameStop posters: unreal tournament, ace combat 6, Mario galaxy, assassin's creed, Nights, Jericho, Time Crisis 4). The stick is the main thing I thought was cool, though.
Today I emailed a guy about a NES-2 w/ games that I thought he had a bad p/s for, and he was asking 30. So I asked if I could bring one and test it. He said I misunderstood, and that the console just didn't work, and it seemed to be an issue with the power or switch or something. So I offered 20 and that was taken. I picked it up a bit ago, turns out after some cleaning it actually was just his p/s. I get to add Ultimate Basketball to my collection, though it is in crummy shape, plus a bunch of sleeves. I really like the fun-co-land ones.
the beer is just cause I just pulled it and I wanted to show off my cool RotJ glasses that I got as a wedding present way back when, and make you all thirsty!
p.s. if anyone is interested in a poster other than nights or mario galaxy, I'd part with them, though I imagine shipping is a pain.
