Just as the title implies, I'm looking for a price check on this item. I found it bundled with a lot of 5 other Genesis titles for $8 total, so I figured why not?

Probably around a dollar. It WAS bundled with the system.
Interesting note, the "NOT FOR RESALE" part is a sticker on both the box and cartridge, so I guess if you carefully peeled it off, you could maybe get two dollars for it...
Theres two different versions of this. But to answer the OP question: both are worthless, which equates to 50 cents in todays market. For some reason Genesis "not for resale" carts never took off in price the way Snes carts did. I hope those 5 other games weren't sports/commons. Otherwise you overpaid.

I'd say 50 cents - $1 cart only, and maybe up to $2-$3 complete.
This wasn't the SMB/DH of the Genesis (that would be Sonic 2), but it's close.
Actually, I didn't even buy the lot, though I was leaning toward it. None of the other games were sports titles, though I don't remember what they were.
I know next to nothing about the Genesis or other Sega systems, so I had no idea the cart was quite so common.

Pack in carts are rarely ever worth anything. Only the Demo/NRF carts are worth something (SNES, N64, DS ect). Stuff thats bundled in with systems are big sellers and normally worth less than the regular releases.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.
