Me and my Atari 1200XL, circa 1990. Check out the tv hooked up to it--now that's retro.
Can anybody guess the game I'm playing?

I have no guess. I just always dig the fact that back in the day (old man voice in effect)... the console was usually bigger than the tv set it played on. And we liked it.
With a humble heart, on bended knee...
Yea, Bigger the better.....................
no but i can guess that thats a zenith tv because im pretty sure i had the same one when i was a kid lol.
For lucky best wash, use Mr. Sparkle.

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi - Death Star Battle
I like it better on 2600 though

for 1990 that tv is hella old. i think i have some pics of me gaming on an NES in late 80s. and the tv didnt look that small/old. and it was in ukraine!
still though, love those old pics. if you didnt tell anyone it was 1990 we'd guess early 80s.
Some where I have a picture of the day I got my first NES. You have never seen a look of such excitement on a kids face.
Here's a pic of me and some friends playing NES (I'm the one in the white shirt), also in 1990. Anyone care to guess which game we were playing?
Great Thread. Here it is my contribution! It's me and my dear friend playing with my Commodore 128! Look at the joystick eheheh
I have just found some pictures from I beleive what is 1992. It is of me playing Zelda: Link to the Past on the SNES… and another picture of the Genesis running a rental game of which I cannot recall what it is.
I can post it by Thanksgiving as I will have access to a scanner at my parents home… but I am worry people are laugh at me
Dammit. Now I can't post mine anymore. Still, that was a really comfortable nightgown!
Now, seriously: I don't recall ANY pictures being taken at home while I was playing...which is odd, because my house has always been me and my friend's headquarters (Unlike the other moms, mine wouldn't mind having a bunch of brats playing videogames, talking loud and cursing each other at our place, until late hours), so we were there all the time. Well, I guess none of us kids had a camera back then...
I'll be at my mom's for X-mas. If I find any pic I might have forgotten about, I'll post it here.

Blowing on cartridges since 1987
oh well
ca 1986 left to right: bottle cheap beer, Sanyo monitor, XC11, 130 XE, 1050, above Seikosha printer which plugged straight into the 130XE
We didn't have computers in the 60s when i was really young like those pictures you guys show above, couldn't actually hump a PDP 11 into my parents house, and Pong, phew...not a wink.
I had Mattels Major Matt Mason though, that was fun. And one of those oven 'bake-your-own-creepy-crawlies thingies, even that was fun too. And Hot Wheels of course, they never stayed on the bloody track.
