Smile Games your Non-gamer friends like to play?

I was gonna call the thread What games does your girlfriend like to play? but...
Anyway I was thinking about this today. My girlfriend wont leave my Dreamcast alone. Every time she's here she's playing Bust A Move 4. Not a bad thing at all. In the past she realy liked Metroid Prime 3(she beat it). We're playing Lego Batman together now. Lego Star Wars, Bolder Dash(Nes), Super Mario Sun Shine(she beat), Mario Galaxy, and Spyro. She says she can beat Mario 3 but I don't believe her. Games she doesn't like Resident Evil and Animal Crossing.? and alot of the older stuff. I have another friend and she'll come over and play fighting games. She likes talking trash when she can beat me. So I guess my girlfriend like platformers and newer games.

My brother whom doesn't really play games at all saw me playing Call of Duty: World at War, said it looks pretty cool and hasn't stopped playing the game since. Whenever he would play games they would either be racing games or the Sims but perhaps he has fallen in love with the shooter genre all of a sudden and I'll have a co-op partner for Resident Evil 5.

My brother kind of likes the Crash Bandicoot games. And when I took my PS2 up to his place a couple of times, we played some MLB Power Pros which he kind of liked.

Haha, my girlfriend plays as much games as I do. ^_^

As far as games I can get my NON-gamer friends to play, though, that would have to be Wii Sports. It's silly, but for some reason, I've never met anyone who doesn't like it.

My sister has never played games at all, either, but she just goes nuts over "Urbz: Sims in the City."

A very good friend of mine, who I would by no means consider a gamer, has a weakness for some NES classics, namely Jackal, 1943 and Castlevania III. He also enjoys the Gran Turismo games, but then, he is a car guy.

My wife, besides liking games like Ms. Pac-Man and Tetris, got hooked on R-Type and U.N. Squadron a while ago thanks to me. As it turns out, she's also a Streets of Rage fan from way back.

My female downstairs neighbor is absolutely addicted to Bioshock and Hexic HD. I have two other female friends who come over every Tuesday night and want to play Timesplitters 3 and Halo 2. My neighbor, however, absolutely DETESTS these two games. Girls=confusing as ever.

The ladies love the 2600. Co-op Space Invaders has got them going on more than one occasion, if you get my drift.

They really like to play with a joystick of another kind, if you follow me.

Some definite co-op play goes down later that night, if you know what I'm saying.

My 2600 isn't the only Heavy Sixer in the room getting workout, if you catch what I mean.

My wife's a casual gamer. DDR, Animal Crossing, anything Mario or Final Fantasy. She actually prefers to watch me play games than play herself. She'll watch me play just about anything.

I have a very good friend of mine who comes over to play:

Baseball Stars 2 on the Neo Geo AES. Then when SNK collection came out for PS2, I told him to pick it up (14.99 at Game crazy at the time) so he could practice. I picked it up for myself too.

Well, on this collection, Neo Turf Masters (golf) is on there and now all we do is play match game every week.

I have another good friend of mine, he enjoys Grand Theft Autos and Gran Turismo. He already say that when GT5 come out, he WILL get a PS3. We will play this game for many days straight and talk on telephone for hours talking about tricks and strategies. We are car guys so that is part of the appeal for us too.

And my final non gaming friend, we will play Nintendo Wii - Wii Sports, Carinval Games, and Wii Play.

My wife, well, she plays many games just as I do. Video games is a family interest in my home.

Everyone loves Puzzle Bobble and Spin Masters and I usually leave them on when people are over.
Neo Bomberman, Super Dodgeball, Aero Fighters, Neo Turfmasters, Shock Troopers, Blazing Star and Sengoku 3 will get some play if they happen to be in the cab.

Most of my friends don't give a rats ass about my old consoles. The gf will play some NES SMB games and Dr. Mario now and then, thats about it.

Every game can be enjoyable, you just need to be more creative with some then others.

When I was younger, my stepdad liked to play Tetris and Galaga on the NES. It was actually the only two games he'd play.

An aunt of mine would only play Tetris. My uncle plays Backgammon and Poker on pogo.com(it's not a video game, but it is a flash version of those games you play against other people.) My cousin used to play games but doesn't anymore, though there are times he'll rarely play the Settlers games, Unreal Tournament 2004, and Age of Mythology.

My father used to play Adventure and other text-based games, I think he might have played Zork but he doesn't really remember.

My one friend claims he doesn't play videogames, which is kind of weird as we used to play all the time when we were younger (N64 mostly), but I got him to sit down with Typing of the Dead and he thought it was hilarious, asking for his own copy.

My girlfriend has pretty good taste, she just got into ActRaiser for the SNES, and has been a big pokemon fan (but only of the red/blue genre...a traditionalist like myself and others). She played Deus Ex, even showing me something I had never tried (going into the interrogation with Simons), but she usually doesn't finish games (she wants to borrow Symphony of the Night without finishing FF7. )

The one thing I'm semi-proud of is that both she and a male friend of mine like to watch me play certain videogames. For my friend, my frustrations are usually entertaining and for the girlfriend, she enjoys watching a good story...which is kinda shitty as nowadays I'm playing mainly RPGs and Fighting Games; RPGs turn into a day-job of grinding for me ('cept for Mario RPG, which we've played together several times), and fighting games are just...fighting games.

So I try to mix it up a bit to make everyone happy because as a gamer I just don't stop gaming, unless a good movie is on or I physically can't play games (i.e. I'm operating heavy machinery)...On that note I'm going to meet a friend downstairs to play Mario Party (the first one).

Well Tetris is obvious but I also got some non-gaming friends to give Bust -A-Groove a try simply because they liked dancing. Too bad their coordination didn't translate too well in the video game world

My fiancee isn't a gamer by any means, but she loves Super Mario World, Mario Kart, and Kirby (the SNES one).

My non-gaming friends will usually do Mario Party (several of the 64 titles) and Mario Tennis (n64). Otherwise, all of my friends are into sports titles of leagues that they follow (NBA 2K?, Madden, MLB: The Show etc.) on the newer consoles. Also we get down on Kirby's Avalanche and Kirby's Dreamcourse (both SNES) casually.
