This change has me a bit worried. On one hand I'm looking for a good console MMORPG now that FF XIV has failed and FF XI is dying out, but is Dragon Quest serious enough for a decent MMORPG? Most of the Dragon Quest plots have been on the lighter side, which I'm not sure works for a online RPG. Then again, maybe it's just me. I'll buy it anyway regardless.

I'm saddened by these news. I already disliked the lesser focus on story and the greater emphasis on grinding that DQIX had(seriously, an RPG which had no party members with personality or dialogue? fuck that shit), and MMORPG will make this even worse. I will not support this.
I bet we don't get the Wii version here.
I'm very disappointed by this news. Dragon Quest X was one (if not) my most wanted Wii game since it was announced. I was looking forward to another DQVII or DQVIII, but instead we get this.

How are they going to make a MMORPG work with the Wii's friends codes making it near impossible to game online with random people?
Well there is one more game I won't be picking up. My wallet is excited by the news at least.
