Default Snake Rattle N Roll PAL- store demo?

Okay, so I bought this a few months ago, not knowing what it really was. After I figured out it wasn't a prototype, I kind of forgot about it. It appears to be the full game. The thing here is the labeling. It's a silver sticker applied with a strong adhesive, but not the same one used in regular NES carts.

    Any ideas?

Don't have an image of the back but it's the standard gray warning sticker but in both English and what I believe to be Italian.

Pictures are really needed for an item like this, anyway you could snap a photo of the cart and the board set?

Not really, I have my monitor on the highest setting and they are still blurry.

Ah, I'll try to get a better picture as soon as I can.

I'll bump the thread when I do.

Thought I could help shed light on this being in the PAL territory.

I opened up my PAL cart, NES-RJ-UKV and it appears the cart you have is very similar to the retail one.
    Here are some pics

Now, everything looks exactly the same, apart from the two codes on the bottom line of the two main chips.
    The retail ones read '1KF 10' and '1LF 12', where as yours read '1DM 19' and '1DM 27'
Wether or not this is a difference in game, I havent a clue as I dont know much about the chips and eeproms! Youll need to ask someone else.

I guess the only other way to find out is to dump the cart to a ROM to check.

That really helps, thanks. I'm not sure what the differences in numbers mean, right now I'm just thinking they are print run numbers.

The last numbers on chips are more than likely some production batch number or date code. Or possibly a factory code if they were manufactured at different factories. But since they're masked roms made exclusively by or for nintendo then there's no telling.

I'll try to play through it today to see if I can tell any differences.

Wow, I'm surprised. This game is actually pretty hard. I can't get past the third level.
