Can the Atari FB2 use the original Atari joysticks, Trakballs, etc?

Yes, and the Flashback 2 joysticks are compatible with the original Atari systems along with all the joystick's compatible machines like the Commodore 64.

I really like the way the Flashback 2's joysticks can be unscrewed from the base. I've seen some nice mods to convert a regular Atari stick into a USB controller, and the Flashback 2 stick would be great for that. I could get it into a laptop bag a lot easier than a regular Atari stick. Although there's always the possibility of losing the actual stick part.
