Default Atari 2600 Ms. Pac Man EPROM Cart. Open or not?

The top label is blank, the main one is just white paper. Should I make a hole and check what's inside?

This doesn't come from a collector, but comes from USA. Works well on a PAL 2600 Jr.

No, it's not a complete hole. But I'm going to open that!

Time to go straight to dumping it, then?

Yes, I must setup the 7800 dumping machine Stonic gave me, but I have a nice problem..since it wouldn't output video on my PAL tvs...that's why I would have prefered to open and dump the eprom.

The question is: do you think it's worth the damage? I should get a loose Ms Pac Man to check for differences. I've got one, but it's sealed...being a collector it's quite difficult sometimes.

ps Stonic I still owe you a lot.

The 7800 devOS is universal. It will work as either PAL or NTSC depending on what type 7800 you install it in.
You should be able to dump it without a display though. After you plug in the cart and turn it on, hit the reset button on the 7800 and it will go into transfer mode.

Never seen a 2600 proto quite like that. Hope you can dump it (and hopefully release it) soon!

Can you tell if it is a WIP or is it the final version?
