    Default Boxed Fairchild VES

    i saw one of these the other day at some store for $35, I think I'm going to go pick it up in the morning

    From what I understand, that's about market price for a boxed, early edition Fairchild Channel F. If you're going to pick it up as a collector's item, then that's fine. If you're picking it up for a new, unique gameplay experience, just pound your hand flat with a mallet, it's pretty much the same thing.

    I thought the Channel F was a poke in the eye, and the RCA Studio II was the hit with the mallet... ?

    No, the RCA Studio II is a blowtorch to the testicles, the Emerson Arcadia 2001 is a poke in the eye.
