No person in the world finds this "while cleaning my basement/closet/bathroom/bedroom".

Not quite an auction, but doesn't belong in Classic Gaming.
**shimmy**
I'm assuming that this popped up because there is a gold NWC on ebay right now, for the low BIN of 25k.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.
Some of My Game Collection Mah Mac n' Cheese Blog
It could very well be real.
He's gonna include Duck Hunting...
Ah, no it can't.
The dude claimed that he "won this when I was 15 yrs old at the Nintendo Championships event in Milwaukee, WI."
The gold carts were given out by NP, and were completely separate from the event. competitors took home grey carts from the event. Complete bullshit. Case closed.
i suppose it could be real, he could be lieing about being at the competition and may have bought it from some poor sap for next to nothing...many possibilities of what could have happened,
but i also agree with you in saying that this is more than likely complete bullshit, so Fuck Craigslist
Well the item in question is no longer listed. I would also assume that it is a total fake. Neither carts were given away at any of the local competitions. They were given away to the 90 finalists at the final tournament (i forget if it was in california or florida). And of course the gold ones were with the magazine contest. I'm sure a few employees grabbed some as I remember there being 200 game stations at the event, plus another 7 onstage.
