    Default 7800 Modding question

I am looking to get my 7800 to have an AV output so I can play it on newer tvs, however I am unable to find any kits or people that do such a thing, anyone know of a good place to find this info?

I know the longhorn engineer is currently working on an improved circuit for this very thing.

The only time I did it, the guy I sold it too complained that the brightness was too low even tho it looked good on my test monitor.

If the Longhorn engineer post his new circuit, I'd like to try it.

Gotta finish my Sega Neptune first...

Ah best of luck on the Sega Neptune mod. The one bad thing about vga boxes is that RF doesn't get supported...

I bought this kit for my 7800. I did run into a couple difficulties.
One, my 7800 actually does have the expansion slot on it, so I couldn't put the jacks where suggested. The wires are too short to run to anywhere else for the audio/video jack harnesses, so I kind of just poked them out of the expansion port (nothing uses it anyway).
Secondly, one of the traces for the audio on the board didn't work, so I just soldered on a patch cord from the input harness straight to the output.

Don't get the 8 bit domain mod. They are a terrible business, often never responding to your emails, and sending items many many months late. There's loads of bad feedback for them at atariage. Also, there is a pretty easy composite and audio mod available you can do yourself, also on AA.
