Wow, that's really cool! Do you really have all of them?
I've been looking for a copy of crazy taxi for years and i can't find one. I can't make it to NAVA, but would you be willing to ship a copy? I'll cover shipping and handling and whatever it costs to get a copy.
Make sure you write your return address nice and big so i know who the package is from!
Thanks!
I really want a DC Link cable and will pay well for one. Someone please hook me up.
Before you guys get pissed at me for suggesting that, notice how all the games I listed were IMPORTS! Most people don't even know they exist on the Dreamcast and they cost a pretty penny to get for the system.
It's funny, you guys seem to get on our backs about this, but yet you have repros and what have you and it's the same thing. It's being able to play a hard to find title on your system.
I'm not trying to start anything. I'm just standing up for a fellow member and am aware of a lot of this as I know people(and have done it myself for imports and rarities for this system).
But as far as CHARGING for them, yeah, I wouldn't do that. If you want to give someone a copy that's fine, but don't charge for them. I never did when I did copies of these for people.
Just remember, there was a similar outcry when the first repros of rare games were being made. Just look at old issues of the 2600 Connection.....
Wow. Rather than shrugging and moving on, you decided it would be a better idea to leap up defensively and bark at the freakin' OWNER of this site - the one who just reprimanded you. And this same fellow hosts the very event you plan to attend this weekend.
Still Around...Still Gamin'...
Sorry, But I have never seen the Brass Balls award in all it's glory.

I'm not barking at anyone. I'm just stating a point. I made my point and moved on. If you think I'm trying to start something, I'm not. If you read my post, you'd see that I wasn't trying to do that. Joe, if you think I am, then I apologize as that was not my intention. I was just trying to get people to see that there is some good in a situation.
I DO agree with Joe on the statement that no profit should be made on stuff like this. It should be just as a service if someone really wants something. He said what makes you think it's okay to sell them in the store.
But, I brought up the idea of what if they could be given away. If you guys hate me for that, I'm sorry. But, I was speaking from experience and from the people I dealt with, they usually don't like the idea of "backups", but they only do so when it's a game they cannot otherwise get their hands on, but if they find it, they snatch it(that's how my friend got a copy of Rez for the DC).
When the 2600 community first came back into being, it was common for places like Best Electronics or something to make carts of rare games(such as Tooth Protectors and the like) and sell them for people to play. But, the DC games are still technically under copyright. What to do? Give them away! If you see one you can own, then buy it.
I will say that it is my fault for not explaining all of this earlier when I should've. Bottom line is this: I was making a point for the guy. But, it's Joe's final say. To tell the truth, he wrote his comment as I was in the middle of writing mine, so I did not see his comment until I posted mine. It may seem like I was directing it at him, but I wasn't.
I'm sorry if it seemed that way, but like I said, it was not my intention. Can we just drop the topic now? It seems that it's going to get more heated if we don't. I'm sorry I even brought it up, but I was only trying to help.
BTW, Colbert isn't exactly the best choice to be stern. You should've used the Evil Monkey from Family Guy:
Plz. Thnks. K.
"And the book says: 'We may be through with the past, but the past ain't through with us.'"
That's okay. I got your back, though. I knew what you were trying to do and we both were taken in by this whole firestorm. Like I said, I just hope that it's all over now and we can move on to talking about the event.
BTW, This one is directed at Joe:
Dell claims that my laptop should be here on Thursday. If that's the case, I'd like to bring my 750GB external(since my passport won't be here until Monday), but only problem is is that it needs an external power supply. I have MAME(full 0.132 w/select CHD's), Visual Pinball(with some choice tables), and a few others. It won't be 100% as the drive is kinda full and I cannot put much on it, but it's something.
Would this be a problem? I know you have a MAME cabinet there, but I don't think many people on here have seen Visual Pinball.
