He never said Super Nintendo or Sega Genesis, he explicity called Nintendo's 16 bit console the Super Famicom. So unless he's the type that views everything in videogaming that is different internationally than in Japan as automatically inferior (Including something like a console name) and uses a console name that isn't utilized in his region as a result, I made the only assumption I could that he was talking about the Japanese marketplace.
