Default Help! Me and the Mrs. are trying to figure out Night Trap

Does anyone know just what the hell to do? I know what A, B, and C do but it still seems sorta random when the traps hit and when they don't. Is there some sort of info I'm missing? and when do I know what access code I need? It's sorta confusing...

    Default night trap

Somewhere on the screen there's an indicator that looks sort of like a radar detector. You can only activate a trap when this indicator reaches its highest level. This is especially important when you're in a scene where someone is about to get killed.

You can find out the codes by listening to conversations. Sometimes you can figure it out by process of elimination. Just don't be distracted by the meaningless scenes (such as girls dancing, people arriving to the house, etc.)

If I remember correctly, there is only one room where the color is changed, so it's a good idea to check that room periodically to make sure you don't lose track, or you get screwed. And, just like Kid Ice said, it's hard to get the timing right, and it doesn't always feel like you're controlling the game, but you are, keep at it!

Believe it or not, Night Trap is one of my favorite games (don't laugh).

Anyway, I wrote down the times and rooms of where you need to be to nab the intruders. I don't have it perfect yet, but I have most of them

I have 74 of the times and rooms for all 4 code changes, nabbing the intruders and to save the 5 people.

I'm missing a few, but it's enough to finish the game.

The gist of it is simple - be in the room at the right time to trap the intruder. Sometimes it's essential to do so to save a person, other times it's just to trap them.

If you let to many in the house, the Captain will yell at you, and pull the plug.

Oh, and the code changes are essential. If you miss the code change, you can't access any of the traps, and it's goodnight.

If anyone wants a copy of the list (or I can just post it here), just let me know.

    Peace -
    Steve
