For some reason this keeps getting deleted from CAG but i want my favorite forum to get in on this deal. It is a little ymmv though since there is no actual coupon, just a discount code. Some clerks only do it if you have a print out. Anyway i just wrote it on a post it and said i got it online. Worked 3 times in 2 stores, one clerk said no but i came back later after shift change.

This is getting deleted from CAG because its against the contest rules to copy it. I'd recommend not letting it get out on any other sites such as slickdeals or fatwallet, because I'm sure gamestop will send out an email telling stores not to accept it if it becomes widely used.

Technically, they should only accept the code only if they get it printed on a winning coupon.

I'm fairly sure GS corporate will send an email out anyway.

I just tried it and it worked at the first GameStop. I emailed myself the code and then printed it out. The cashier at GameStop asked me what it was and I told him it was a code to save 50% off a used game. His co-worker pulled out his "Jack's Big Rip Off" flyer and told him to try the code. They both were more than happy to let me use the code and discount card.

I ended up getting Ghostbusters 360 for $21.99 ($23.62 after tax). Thanks for the code, my son has been earning this game for two weeks. He was very excited to see the game sitting on his car seat today after school.

Here's something that might work for people who are having trouble getting local GameStop employees to honor the code.

Type in EBC3009415 and this will generate a UPC barcode along with the digits. If you print that out and present it to the employee they might be a little more inclined to accept it. It might not work if they try to scan the barcode but they'll just type in the digits manually like they usually have to do with the printable coupons.

Edit: Come to think of it, photoshopping the generated barcode in place of the barcode on a real GameStop coupon could solve everybody's problem. Anybody able to do that?

Edit 2: Ok, I've photoshopped an old GameStop coupon with the new code (even changed the original 20% to 50% and modified the expiration date). But I don't know if that violates any ethical boundaries so I'm going to refrain from posting it here unless there's no problem with it.

Just tried it at the location I frequent. The employee there didn't have any issues because he knew about the promotion.
I got a complete copy of Fatal Frame 2 for $15.99!
