Since you're new here, I shall point out that we have a more than a few videogame-specific subforums you can post threads like this in. "Off Topic" is more for items of a non-game-related nature (news, music, television, opinions, rants).

That said, we've been engaged in "What are the games for XXXX" and "The Top Ten Games for XXXX" discussions for YEARS. To keep people from posting a new thread everytime they discover a new system or what opinions on good games, we have a "Classic Discussions" forum where all of these "Top Ten/Best Games" threads are ongoing.
