Default Plastic Cartridge Cases for N64

While I was going through stuff at my parents' house, I stumbled upon a collection of plastic cases that I used to store my N64 cartridges and instruction manuals. They were stamped with "Nintendo 64" in red on the bottom of the front.

While I'm sure they're absolutely worthless (hence why this isn't in What's It Worth?), I would like to know how common these plastic things are. I remember buying them in sets of three to store games whenever I bought new games, but about a year into the N64's run, they stopped selling them.

So did other people buy these? Were they common? Do people still use them?

I don't think they're all over the place, but they're not really in a big demand either. So anyone looking for them could find em, I wouldn't say they're worthless though... I never saw them for sale but a bunch of rental stores used em, and I'm assuming offloaded em too. Don't really know though so don't take my word for it ;p

I've actually never come across any, and I always though they never existed, and wondered why they didn't.

I've got the SNES ones, and the NES dust covers and actual plastic cases, but nothing for N64. Now that I know they exist, I"m gonna have to look for 'em.

I didn't think to take a picture, but I'm looking on Google Image Search right now.

But yeah, I figured it would be a good way to protect the cartridges.

    EDIT:
Here's what they look like. The site I got this of is selling them for $5.

I have three of those (although mine are light-blue). They did come in a three-pack box. I got mine (boxed) for $1.

I remember seeing the light blue ones when I was younger, but since the first few I bought were clear and I'm anal retentive, I always made sure I had clear.

I don't remember pink ones, though.

I've got light green N64 ones, my NES cases are similar but light blue. I was surprised to find a clear NES one when I bought Castlevania III. I'd actually use the darn things if I had enough of them, but they do take up a bit more shelf space than loose carts do.

I have six of these. I stopped buying them when I kept buying more games because they took up too much space.

Hell, I have some of those and are always looking for more. I wouldn't pay $5.00 for them though as that sounds a bit steep.

I agree that $5 is too steep, because I don't think I paid $5 for a pack of three back in the day.

If you're just interested in plastic cases which fit N64 games, I would recommend:

    http://www.mediashelving.com/Merchan...egory_Code=MED

It also fits SNES and Genesis games. I have bought 300 of these in the past and print covers for them from http://www.thecoverproject.net/

For a second there, I thought it was $42 for one of them. The look of shock on my face quickly disappeared though. Too bad they're out of stock, or else I'd consider.
