Seriously, the only argument that could conceivably work in this thread is "I don't feel this is a good deal" and the only person I'd expect to say that actually admitted to buying the damn thing.

To be more on topic myself...I've never played a Metroid Prime game since I didn't like the original Metroid / Super Metroid games...but at that price, I would surely at least give them a chance. Sadly, it seems I have missed the boat. I will keep my eyes open though.

Got Wal-Mart to price match the game for me. The first two I stopped by were sold out and the one I bought was the last one. The ad is also only good until the 26th so if you didn't get it yet, you're out of luck.

I am very sad about this. My boyfriend lives in Chicago and has tried 3 times to get it for me, failing each time. I am in Canada and cannot take advantage of this deal. Woe is me.

And just for the record, each generation of Nintendo consoles has had at LEAST 5 times as much power as its predecessor. Even if the guesswork people have done is right, 1.5 times more power is NOT significant enough to show much better results.

That's what I'm trying to say. Someone ragged on the game for having GC style graphics, but the Wii isn't really capable of doing anything significantly more. The original versions are beautiful anyway, just suck it up.

The way the post in reference was worded it was very easy to read it as a complaint that the game used the same graphical quality as the original. Instead of addressing this, however, users chose to attack my statement about the Wii's capabilities and argue with me over that.
