    Default NES problems

My friend recently let me have his NES- of which he has none of the rf switches or outputs for. I myself didn't have the originals, so I tried using the outputs and adapter from my Yobo Fc System (an NES clone) and could not get the system to work at all. I also tried using my RF adapter from my SNES (the actual OEM) and it also didn't do a thing. I noticed the LED light was flashing off and on...seemed like a problem affecting the machine in general. Do I just need to get the real hookups or is the system simply broken?

I'd say either try cleaning it or it may need a new 72 pin; but this really belongs in the tech and resto forum
