Default MAME on Xbox or Dreamcast

Hey there! I was wondering if anyone knew a great site regarding MAME on Xbox or Dreamcast (having a hard time finding reliable information). You see, since I am a poor boy, I can't afford a stand alone unit or multiple arcade machines to play some old favorites on (and I prefer gaming on the TV screen as opposed to the computer screen). Thanks!

Try www.dcemulation.com , if they don't have what you're looking for they probably have forums or links that'll get you headed in the right direction.

I've said it before, but MAME on the Dreamcast is good as a novelty, but you're not going to get any serious gaming out of it. I wouldn't put a lot of time into getting it working, you'll be dissapointed. Still, it is neat to see that yes someone did kinda sorta port MAME to the DC.

Captain Wrong is 100% right about Mame on the DC.. It's sort of fun and plays some games, but is a lot of hassle and in the end, it just aint worth it. It just doesn't play very many games good for the effort.

Xbox Mame on the other hand comes in two flavors: MameX and MameOX. MameOX is the more updated of the two. If you want some info, check the xbox-scene.com forums in the 'emulation' section. Matter o' fact here's a direct link to the discussions on the latest MameOX release (v.71.1.b)
