Default Price Estimate on Craig's List Lot

    http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/vgm/2321432024.html

So I got the guy down to $380 from his listed $500.00 but I STILL don't think I can make too much on this lot at this price. Do you guys think this would be worth buying to flip at that price?

I think with the systems, you can make some money off it. Most of the games are only a few bucks each, but there are some gems and you should be able to at least break even with just them.

Boxed Power Base Converter and a Sega CD aren't cheap. I guess the real question is how much time and effort do you want to expend? You can make Genesis system + games lots and get $50 apiece, imo, so long as you put some decent titles in w/ the crap (there's enough decent titles there anyway). You could also get $60~100 for the SNES and all the games minus Mario RPG and Chrono Trigger (which you'd sell by themselves for probably around $80+). Then you'd need to figure out how to sell off the NES games. Only ones in there worth more than a couple bucks are MM 4 and Contra (I think, I just skimmed the list). Oh and you can easily get $60~80 for the N64 and games.

Yes, be wary of CL lots. We got hosed on a pre-NES lot in November of last year. If we sold everything we kept, we would have broken even. Aside from all the time cleaning the shit and selling it.

    If he's going for $380, do $350.

I'd tell them Girls too or no deal. Megatron with mumps FTW!

Sorry, couldn't help myself. Clever hook there.

Got him down to $350.00. Deal's going down tomorrow. Ile keep you guys updated and let you know if it happens or not. I think pieced out I should be able to make $300.00 off this. If i'm REALLY lucky, maybe 100-200 more than that.

Mostly, i'm keeping around half of it. Some of it is doubles of what I have, or old sports games that i'm not interested in so no, i'm not keeping ALL of it, just some.
