Y'know, that client would probably annoy the hell out of me if my computer was slower. But as it is? It brings to mind some bygone era of PC games, when multimedia crap was first coming out and no one realized how crappy it was but saw it as the great, ridiculous, hopeful, magical symbol of the future. Such ostentation rarely seems to be welcome any more.
