Midway Arcade, the iOS collection of Midway arcade classics like Joust, Spy Hunter and Root Beer Tapper has been updated to include support for the iCade iPad dock, increasing the inherent arcade-ness of the experience by 100 percent. Any Chance they'll make a Kindle Fire version?

I downloaded the update during the week.

I already have iMAME on my iPad 2, but the Midway collection has a great graphical UI and built-in achievements that EASILY make it worth the .99 cost of entry.

Haven't had a chance to try out the iCade compatibility but if it's as good as the Atari collection I'm excited. Hopefully they patch Pinball Arcade next!

Also, iCade is not technically a "dock", it's a wireless bluetooth controller, which means you can plug the iPad 2 into your TV and use it from a distance, essentially consolizing the iPad where the games are compatible.

Tried it out today with the iCade, works great on the arcade games (Spy Hunter is suddenly MUCH more playable) but it doesn't work on any of the redemption games in the arcade.
