Default Snatcher and Point n Click Adventure games (from Japan)??

I've only played Snatcher briefly but other there other games in that style available for modern systems, like PS2, Dreamcast, PS3, DC, i Phone, or even PCs?

So far I know about Hotel Dusk Room 215...and that's it. I like the the japanese anime styled scenes.

These are Visual Novels, there's tons out there. The Phoenix Wright games on the DS come to mind.

Wait, are you looking for games that were developed in Japan? There's quite a few of the same... genre developed all around the world, too.

most of the games you are looking for would probably fall under classic gaming. Also a good portion of those games were probably also made in the US. Another game you may want to look into is Rise of the Dragon on the Sega CD (and I believe PC). Again it is classic gaming but thats the first one that comes to mind. Sega CD had a few point and click games. Check out Trace Memory on the DS also. Its an early release on the DS and is very similar to a point and click game.

Thanks for the replies. I wanted to check out some old school Sega CD games but the prices, even for Cobra is really expensive.

Visual Novels is what I meant, and the ones that are in english but utilize manga style art.. So far, for the iPhone I've found a few, the most interesting though is Kira Kira. It looks like something more serious from the description at apple, but googling it, it seems like some make-the-band story scenario.

Is there a place to buy PC visual novels? I tried amazon but they only had like 2. Or a legit place to purchase them and download?

Policenauts looks awesome by the way.
