    Default Replacing GameCube controller "knobs?"

I have a GameCube controller which needs the grey left analog stick cap replaced. Just the rubber knob. can't find them online anymore only the yellows. Anyone know where to look?

People are probably buying up the grey knobs to replace their c-sticks, and then selling the useless yellow nubs online..
Just a get a busted controller.

if you don't need it to be grey you can also use Wii knobs. Also, rubbing silicone grease on the rubber will prolong it's life even if it is already depolymerizing.

I've ordered a few of of these before and they seem to work pretty well, though they do feel like they are rubbing against the controller when pushed all the way.

Actually, the idea is that you let it soak in and then wipe the excess off.

Family Dollar stores sell 3rd party GCN/Wii controllers for $6 a piece, white in color, but are overall nice for the price.
