Default Howard Phillips' Know-It-All Kickstarter project

Howard Phillips of Nintendo Power's Howard and Nester fame is trying to get funding for a new learning app. I suppose the public return of Howard to the world of video games will help lessen the ache we all feel over the recent passing of Nintendo Power.

I learned about this from his Facebook page in case any of you would like to see the cool stuff he has on his page.

The guy named Matthew who authors and draws the comic "Brawl in the Family" is actually drawing the art for this Kickstarter campaign and promises more comics/art will be revealed on the Kickstarter page each week.

Hi - Know-It-All has been incubating for over a year now - we're pretty far along!

FYI - the Kickstarter is intended to accelerate the development trajectory (feature enhancements, ports, back-end server, etc) as well as allow so big fun jumps into the marketplace at the higher Goal Multipliers... Keeping the initial goal low allows us greater granularity with the Goal Multipliers (for those who see the math there)

    thx - h

Awesome! Keep all of us up to date, Howard! I hope your Kickstarter reaches its goal and Know-It-All is a big success.

Wow... this is just so mind blowingly surreal to be writing back and forth with Howard Phillips.

If I owned an iOS smartphone, I'd be all over this. I hope this does very well though.

Busted big time!!! OH YEAH!!! (Just kidding Treismac) By the way Mr. Phillips, I would just like to say that Nintendo Power was so great. I think the quality of the magazine started to go downhill after you left. I still enjoyed it, but somewhere around 1995, it started to become unreadable. Thanks again, for all of your years of service.

A few days left, but it looks like it won't reach it's goal. For what it's worth, I pledged $5.00, which is about all I can spare at the moment.

Best of luck with the kickstarter.

I'm going to take this surprising and rare chance to steal focus for one unrelated question though: who did the art for the early Howard and Nester comics? I've never seen a definitive answer. They seemed to do stuff from Nintendo Power and strategy guides of the time, too.

edit: Checked post timestamps, I doubt I'll get an answer, haha.
