    Default ti99/4a question

Okay, back in elementary school, I remember I used to constantly use a ti99. I remember vividly the speech module, the expansion box, the monitor. I also vividly remember writing programs moving the triangular 'turtle' around and drawing pictures. I remember making sprite maps and animating short things. I remember this being LOGO. I don't see LOGO in the ti99 list... what am I not remembering correctly?

EDIT: Oh okay, I can read, application titles are not in the list. Carry on.

No apps or flobby games in the lists. :P

I know that LOGO was available for the TI

It did require the disk drive for use. It had a cartridge AND a disk.

I'd have to look it up but I remember seeing a Logo II.
So there may be 2 versions OR just the Logo II.

Hrm... I don't remember it requiring the expansion box, but we did have them at my school, so that could be possible. I still really want it... but I'll just have to wait until I find that box locally, there's no way I'll pay to ship that mofo.

There were both TI Logo and TI Logo II carts - don't know about disk requirements. Logo II is the more common version. I have both of these on my tradelist at http://krslam.homestead.com/files/havelist.html

I'll keep that in mind... but I live so close to a major TI facility that there are actually a disproportionate number of TI items in this area, so I generally just wait on finding them at yard sales. Besides, without the expansion box, the LOGO apparently isn't usable anyway...
