    Default Midweek Finds 8/4 - 8/7

Had my first really good thrift find this summer…most good stuff coming from rummages and used stores so far. Walked into my local Goodwill today, and was literally at the right place at the right time. As I was looking through the electronics shelves, a lady unloading a cart put a big, clear plastic bag right in front of me.

Inside was a Master System, complete with all cords, controllers, light phaser and 3D glasses. It also had all documentation, including separate manuals for the system, gun, glasses, registration card and free subscription to a SMS publication called “Challenge. (expired in '89 )” The topper was the 9 games also in the bag…

    F-16 Fighting Falcon
    Missile Defense 3-D
    Action Fighter
    Poseiden Wars 3-D
    Choplifter
    Marksman Shooting/Trap Shooting
    Maze Hunter 3-D
    Zaxxon 3-D
And last but not least…Phantasy Star!

All like new, all boxed, and all with book except the first 2. Needless to say I snagged the bag…priced right at $9.99 for the whole lot. All of it is up for trade, pm if interested. This is the way I like to start a week!

Well my find is hardly as impressive as yours but...
Box of 50+ games (loose) - Commodore 64/128
Demo of Panzer Dragoon - Saturn
Joshua The Battle of Jericho - NES
These were all unpriced, so when I went up to the counter I offered the cashier $3.00, she exepted. I thought it was a good deal no?

    Default find

welp, I was traveling in a semi- distant area today and decided to stop at a gamestop in the area where i'd never had any luck previously. Checking the Nes games....blah..blah..sesame street countdown(have it),..blah...blah....Loopz,...blah....blah...blah. ..Tengen Tetris...blah.bla---wait a sec----TENGEN TETRIS!!!--holey shnikes! Ocassional ridiculous finds like these are what keep me going back to these various gamestops. The kid at the counter says "I didn't even know that was there." I just kept thinking wow some poor shmoe musta traded this in for like .50$ -enjoy that Boston Globe!

I went to Toys R Us, and they actually lowered the prices of just about everything! Bought Guilty Gear X (PS2) and 2 copies of Paper Mario!

Well, you could look that up yourself, but no, it's an R4. I did recently pick up two copies of Marko which IS an r6. In the past couple of weeks I've also picked up Art Alive, Win n Liz, Mystic Defender at GS and those are all r5s. I'm not even going to mention all the r4s and below.

Chad, I'm not in my linux drive due to my ebay selling spree, and acrobat reader refuses to install for me. I've been too lazy to actually reboot into linux mode so I can't read .pdf files until then.

Thanks for the rarity rating, anyway
