Default PS3 slim POWER SUPPLY ISSUE HELP!!!

A little over a month ago I was playing a game for about 30 minutes and suddenly my ps3 turned off so i went to turn it back on and after 3 sec it turned off, so after intense, extensive research i came to the obvious conclusion that it was the power supply, so i ordered a new one and after i finally replaced it with the old one, did the same thing. my first power supply unit was model EADP-200DB and the replacement model was APS-250

if this is the new version PS3 with the slide top on them i suggest making good on an instore exchange policy or making good on your manufacturer warranty.

i just had a rash of the slide top PS3 systems get returned for the same problems

these ps3 are never that good due to the heat from the fan goes though the power supply making it over heat or leaky caps.
    design flaw.

only the new super slim I would say is ok but looks like a sky hd box lol.
