    Default so many 2600 choices

how do you play your 2600 games?

thanks to this mornings find, i've got even more options than before-

standard woodgrains and darth vaders for nostalgia

gemni or 2600jr for compact look

sears video arcade II for coolest looking

    7800 for more titles

    colecovison expansion for less space

and now INTV2 system changer for rarity and space saving

all i need now is that 5200 system changer to make it even harder to choose.

I know what that's like... actually, I don't. I have zero ways to play 2600 games. Bastiches. heh.

I only play 2600 games on the Stella emulator for my Dreamcast now. It's real convenient and aside from the controller, it feels like I'm playing the real deal.

For years I played on a 7800 w/ a Genesis controller, but recently I pulled out a woodgrain unit and real Atari controllers for an ebay auction, and enjoyed it so much that I didn't auction it, or the 50 doubles I was going to sell along with it.

It probably depends on where you're coming from. The 2600 was my first system as a child. Someone younger, maybe someone who grew up on NES, might not appreciate the authenticity of playing on a real 2600.

Mostly on my 7800, but I did go out and buy a 2600. For the simple
    reason some won't play on a 7800.

I grew up on the NES and SNES, and unfortunately, I don't. I suppose that the nostalgia needs to be there.
