    Default NES power pad question

I got a power pad last year and finally hooked it up today for the first time. However when I did, it didn't seem to work. I tried using it with Track and Field but got no response. Can someone please tell me the steps which one would have to take to use it. I'm pretty sure I did everything correctly but you never know. Thanks.

Did you put it in port 2? It needs to be in port 2 with a controller on port 1.

Track & Field working with the Power Pad ?

If this really work it will be news for me, because it's not an official Power Pad game.

I thought I remebered playing Track and Field back in the day with the PP, but if thats the case then I'll have to test it out with another game.

Konami's Track & Field is not the pad game, Nintendo's World Class Track Meet is. Others are Super Team Games, Athletic World, and Dance Aerobics.

Thanks for clearing that up...I knew I remembered the word Track in there somewhere. I'll go give it a try soon.

Street Cop and Short Order/Eggsplode also support the Power Pad, I believe.

Oh, and Stadium Events as well, of course.

I missed a chance to get a boxed NES Action Set with the Pad, Gun and controller that would work with the 3 in 1 game cart for $10 + SH. But I forgot to bid. Oh well.

I need a pad since I have a gun and I bought the 3 in 1 pak for $0.29 the other day.
