Selling a book second-hand is fine. I made money the first time the book was sold. However, downloading books illegally is stealing someone else's work, which is a terrible thing to do.

Admirable and mature reply I respect that. Damn shame others in the game industry, like various physical game makers act like complete children over it and have been working for years to erase the after market and blaming them for all their problems.

Debatable opinions, both, but thank you for not acting like a child, as Tanooki pointed out.
How is the book selling, anyway?

I saw the book at a local B&N, very nice, colorful (I love my pictures). I was disappointed that Brett's was the ONLY book in the section not catering to a modern game. I mean, sheesh!

Congrats! Not sure when I get to my local B&N, but if I do I'll check it out.

At one B&N I saw a copy of The 1000 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die.

I plan on buying two copies of this in the near-ish future... One for myself and one to give away as a prize at an upcoming charity game marathon I've organized. (See signature for details).

    Congrats on the book!

I took Tanooki's advice and bought the kindle version of, "Classic Home Video Games, 1985-1988: A Complete Reference Guide." Your reference guide was outstanding. I plan on buying, " The 100 Greatest Console Video Games: 1977-1987" when it becomes available for the kindle. Anyway, congrats and I really liked the reference guide.

BN is a good 40 miles a way from me or I'd check it out though I am like another posters wife and go for magazines more than anything (read in store with a coffee usually) I also enjoy browsing for future ideas to find later online or at local indie shops (typically used)

Looks like an interesting book glad its doing well. Torrenting is no worse really than visiting a library would be...
