I'm in on that. Just a week ago I think this site flashed that link in some thread on here to that port to windows by a random person of Wonderboy 3 (TG16 version called Dragon's Trap) to windows and installed it.
The company has some games under their belt mostly for ios/android but also ps vita. Hopefully this isn't some touch game nightmare or stuck on that vita and it hits PC-Windows as I'd love to try it.
TurboGrafx-16 version was called Dragon's Curse.
In Japan on the PC-Engine I think it was just called Adventure Island
That's right, said it wrong as the game I have here says Dragon's Curse: Dragon's Trap.
Funny how Adventure Island takes a full circle.
Pocketgamer.co.uk is reporting that the series designer is working with the developer and publisher on this so it's a true sequel.
It is also slated for PC and PS4, likely Vita with crossbuy too since the developer already does Vita games.
The same game on Master System is subtitled Dragon's Trap. The whole Westone Wonder Boy/Adventure Island/Monster World naming is bizarre to figure out no matter how you slice it.
So stoked for this...just sayin'
Cool. I've just been following this thread for the info and wow left the pig out. That looks very nice. I hope to take a shot at this once it arrives.
Hey I never linked this, not sure why, but there was a full remake of Dragon's Trap (Wonderboy 3) done for Windows 32 and 64 bit.
IT was hosted at retroremakes.com which is dead, but a guy over at the SMS Power forums stored both the 32bit installer/version, and the 64bit upgrade files himself and linked it, it's the 4th post from the bottom.

Very fun, very worth your time while waiting on this.

Update!

Time for a new update on our development progress! Last time we showed you concept art from the caves, now we already have playtesters exploring it in the game.
It's thrilling to see people enjoying the various transformation forms. There's a lot of variety on how to play the game depending which character is active. It's like playing the game from six perspectives, with each form offering awesome possibilities. Plus imagine what happens when you switch them on the fly that's so many ways to beat the game and discover secrets!
