Default PS2 NFS Pro Street Widescreen option... Help!

I've been through the manual, every onscreen option I can find, yet I can't find a 16:9 setting anywhere.
I'm sure it's right in front of my eyes as most things I look for usually are.

I would think since it was a 2007 release, and Carbon being a 2006 release which had widescreen option it has to have it.

Thanks to those who would be goodly enough to put up with my idiocy.

Carbon is from EA Canada, Pro Street was developed by Black Box. So it likely doesn't even share a game engine.

So it might just lack the option, although I see that Most Wanted from two years earlier does have 16:9 (Another Black Box developed NFS). It's absent on this list at Wikipedia, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it lacks a 16:9 mode (Or a 480p setting).

Could just mean that nobody ever bothered to check and add it to the list.

It wouldn't surprise me if they just left it out.

It's not a very good engine to begin with so I doubt even 16:9 could save it.

    Thanks!
