Dragon Fantasy is basically a console-style RPG inspired by the NES Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest games. It was developed by Muteki in Japan and published in North America by Choice Provisions. It features 8-bit and 16-bit graphics, music, and SFX which can switched on the fly. Has a good bit of humor to it too. Dragon Fantasy costs $10 and features "cross-buy" meaning buy it for 3DS or Wii U and you'll get the other version too. Same goes for PSV & PS3 and Windows & Mac & Linux. The iOS stands alone.

Very nice of them. I've had the game for sometime now back when it first dropped onto iOS and it's amusing alright and well made. I never got to try that sequel out though so, and I believe this post relates to getting both. I could see totally snapping that up on my 3DS (or Steam) at some rate during a sale since I already bought into it once (or if I got a 3DS gift card.)

That image that's posted with the two towns. The neighboring towns across the river from one another looks like it's inspired by one part on Breath of Fire.
Everything in the above post is opinion unless stated otherwise.
