Default Vertical bluish lines on Atari 2600

I noticed this a couple of weeks back when I had turned the brightness up on my day to day 2600 which is a light sixer. It's hard to see from the picture below but there are faint vertical lines running through the screen, similar to the jailbar lines on a toploader nes but not as pronounced. I tried a couple of different power supplies to no effect. It happens also a bit on both my heavy sixer and sears heavy sixer. However I tried a junior and no lines at all.

My set up is an older sony vcr running to a commodore 1702. I have two 1702 monitors and both exhibit the same lines on the same systems. I've tried replacing video cables both inside the atari itself and the av cables running from the vcr to the monitor with no effect.

My question is - is this an RF issue or something else and if its something else what could it be? I asked on atariage and it seems no one else has ever seen this on Atari systems before and I apparently have at least 3 systems that show this bluish jailbar lines. Any input would be appreciated.

Could also be the vcr your running it through.
I say try 2 things. Ditch the vcr for now and run either a nes rf switch or one of those funky rca to coax/rg6 adapters and plug it directly into ANY TV and see if the same thing occurs

I don't have any other crt's at the moment, just two 1702 monitors which is why I have the vcr. I could try our big flat screen but it gives a strange image with these older consoles through rf. I don't think I have those lines with nes or other systems that use straight composite. It's just so strange that just about no one has seen a similar issue like this and no one can seem to definitely identify whether it is an interference problem or something else.

I meant any tv, lcd or what ever you may have.

if you ditch the rf box and go straight to the tv with an F Adapter it should look ok. all of my Jr, 4, and 6 switchers looked ok on my 40" lcd
