Default MACS Multi-Purpose Arcade Combat Simulator

Yep, I'm a newb. I'm no computer techy (not that a SNES is high tech).

I was wondering if anyone has used this game recently?

Do you need a special TV to shoot at?
Is there a zero screen or do you just shoot the first three pop ups?
Is there anyway to see where the lazer is pointing compared to the target?
Do you have to be a certain distance from the TV?

I shoot the first three targets and a screen comes up with something about adjusting the lightpen and try again (paraphrasing). The rifles I have seem to work. The sound works and after 3 shots that screen pops up about making adjustments and trying again.

    Ideas?

Got this as part of a larger trade of non-gaming stuff a few years ago. Sat in a box until I recently moved and 'found it again'. Don't know much about it other than what I read on this website.

    You need a SD CRT.

Thanks, so I assume none of my flat screens will work. Will see if the neighbor still has one that will work. I opted with my job to move overseas for a few years starting in May (last before RETIREMENT!!!!) so the last thing I need is another TV that doesn't work on 120/50. Any idea on the value of one of these systems?

Had some fun with this last weekend but this will most likely end up on ebay in the near future. Question is to sell as a complete set or separate pieces? Looking at prices, it seems these things fetch a pretty tidy sum.
