    Default the legend of zelda

Hey, how is it going, hopefully well. I went to a game store and found an odd legend of zelda nes. the seal is on the right side of the game. the word caution is underlined, and back of the game says rev-a. the text on the back on what is the first paragraph, is black text, and the last paragraph is red. on the back label says nes-zl871104, and there is the letter "a" stamped on the back label. If you can help identifiy this, that would be great. Thanks

Yeah, it's not odd. It's normal. I've had the same cart since the late '80s. Still has my name written on it in marker on the back, because ten year old me is a dick.

Nothing weird here, it's just what you think it is. If you ever have an odd concern, this place for NES is invaluable -- http://bootgod.dyndns.org:7777/

Is it just me, or speculator-ism running rampant? Comics and baseball cards 25 years ago...housing market...vinyl...now NES games.

I miss the days before everyone was trying to get rich on old games.

Very rampant and as far as games goes it seems to have hit a wall of sorts with the NES and SNES more than less surprisingly. I think people are either being both priced out and/or are realizing you can get free ROMS and emulators on their mobile devices, PC, or even go with an Android box of some flavor (ouya, Pi, etc) or an everdrive and not get scammed anymore. Things have flattened out, but because of that the pecker scalpers are now fouling up other 2nd and 3rd tier level systems popularity wise. Look at the Master System a year ago, then today, the games are approaching (complete) their old retail prices and up and formerly very few if any would. Genesis, GG, and Gameboy seem to be the older hold outs, cartridge alone at least, that isn't getting globally slimy and I'm hoping there's just some subconscious stigma about the handheld stuff as it has been fairly consistent for the majority of it. ($3-30 range much in the lower half.)
