This is a bulletin for those of you that do not already know that equation. ^_^
Pop'n 8 (aka my little bundle of joy) arrived today, and even though I have to wait another week for the controller (friggin' Himeya) it is still a BLAST.
People actually buy these?
Hehe -- J/K... they're popular, but I've never played one in my life. I think 9 just came out in the arcades... or was that DDR? I lose track.
Newest versions:
PNM 10
Beatmania The Final
Beatmania III The Final
Beatmania IIDX 9th Style
DDR Extreme (8th)
Keyboardmania 3rd Mix
Guitar Freaks 9th Mix (10th very soon)
Drummania 8th Mix (ditto for 9th)
Para Para Paradise 2nd Mix
Dance Maniax 2nd Mix Append J-Paradise
Mambo A Go Go
Martial Beat
Yeah, I need more to do.
By the way, as soon as PNM 9 for PS2 comes out, this is going to happen again. ;-)
Give it a try next time you're in the arcade. You will probably enjoy it. Even though it looks like a kid's game, the difficulty in the game ranges from "Oh my God this is impossible to fail" to "Oh my God the world's best player took about 50 tries to beat this song (Classic 8 EX)"Originally Posted by GaijinPunch

I find myself playing songs in a genre I don't normally listen to and loving it. (I rarely listen to hard rock and metal, but I play the Des-Row Expert course all the time)
Well, I played classical piano for 11 years, and learned how to DJ when I moved here, as my pad was too small for a piano. I generally play games where I can't do the real thing in reality, so music games have always done absolutely nothing for me.
