Harvest Moon Guides

I just wanted to give anyone who has seen these in their area a heads up to BUY THEM FAST. We picked up about 7 at Hastings when they were clearing them out at $1.30 and have averaged over $50 for them on Ebay. The latest ended at $71!!

one of our distributors was closing those out at freakin' 50 cents each, and we passed on them (d'oh!)...i'll see if he still has some left! wow. even if they go for $20, it's still a huge profit! :shock:

when bestbuy was clearing out guides for a cent, i picked up 5 front mission 3 guides, sold 4 of em for about 10-15 dollars a piece. not bad at all. it was funny getting a 5 cent receipt at bestbuy.

i haven't seen a good harvest moon online walkthrough, actually. the game is SO open and open ended that it's easy to screw up early on, and not do anything productive for a few game weeks while you're stumbling around playing catch-up!

some folks HAVE heard of gamefaqs, but if you're buying a guide for a lil' tyke who lives elsewhere without 'net access, or you don't want junior poking around on your computer, guides are a good thing. i recommend gf to folks all the time, but you'd be surprised how many peopl don't have the internet at home or know how to use it! and this is new york city, lol!

then again, it's ebay, and people are freakin' crazy sometimes. we had two people in a mad bid war over a pc guidebook last year (i think it was one of the ultima games) the book we got for free from a distributor that moved to a smaller space. i remember it closed at around $82- i think we shipped it free because it went so high, lol (AND amazon.com had the books new for 12.99, we found out later)...=^P
